Chico Poker Network: $2M GTD Championship Online Poker Series
The Chico Poker Network keeps surprising its players with new record-breaking promotions. For this month, the site has announced a tournament series with $2,000,000 guaranteed in prizes. There will be three main events with $625,000 at stake.
Chico Poker Network is going all-in in 2020
Since the beginning of 2020, Chico Poker (TigerGaming, BetOnline, SportsBetting) has been working hard in increasing the guaranteed prizes of its tournaments:
- In March they started with the $25,000 Freeroll Madness promotion;
- Shortly after that, the network held the March Madness tournament series with $750,000 in prizes;
- In April Chico revamped its MTT grid boosting the monthly guarantees to $10M;
- The last news was the launching of a millionaire spin&go and a cash race leaderboard with $40k in prizes.
As a result, right now, Chico Poker is experiencing a traffic boom with up to 4,000 connections during peak time, which are the best indicators of the network since its inception in 2014.
Championship Online Poker Series: record guarantee and high roller tournaments
From May 3 to 17, all rooms of the Chico Poker Network will host a new tournament series: Championship Online, with a total guaranteed prized pool of $2,000,000, which is twice the record set a month ago.
The schedule includes 80 events. The average guarantee is $25,000, with a wide range of stakes from $1,1 to $540. In the lobbies, almost all tournaments will be highlighted in green, and the name will start with the word “Event.”
Until today, the most expensive MTT in Chico Poker was the Main Event for $109. In the Championship Online tournaments, there will be 13 events with this same buy-in, and eight more tournaments with entries of $215 and $530.
There will be four Main Events during these two weeks:
- May 3, $175,000 GTD for $109.
- May 10, $200,000 GTD for $109.
- May 17, $250,000 GTD for $109.
- May 17, Super High Roller Main Event with $75,000 guaranteed for $530.
For a network that is not yet in the TOP10 of the world online poker, a series with such guaranteed prizes is a massive event.
The Championship Online Poker Series $2,000,000 GTD full schedule is already available to the public. A comprehensive satellite campaign will run for all events of the series.
